At a ceremony celebrating excellence in golf tourism, Costa Navarino, in Greece, continued to gain critical acclaim with four more accolades, including the highly coveted World’s Best Golf Venue award.
Camiral Golf & Wellness, in Spain, also scooped a global honour, winning the World’s Best Golf Clubhouse award. Other destinations securing top spots in their continents include Quinta do Lago, in Portugal (below), with Europe’s Best Golf Venue and Best Golf Course (South Course), and Laguna Resort Singapore, with Asia’s Best Golf Hotel.
Ian Knox, Head of European Tour Destinations, said: “These awards show the pedigree of the destinations in our network and are testament to the incredible work that they put in each and every year to remain at the top of their game.
“We’re delighted to see two of our member venues winning global awards and seeing so many destinations take home the top spot in their regions.
“To be recognised as best in their field, given the heightened levels of competition in the industry, is a huge honour and very much something to be celebrated.”
