Black Mountain Golf Club now belongs to a very exclusive network of the best golf clubs in the Asia Pacific.
It is now a distinguished member of the “The Asia Pacific Order of Zenith”, the highest and most prestigious award reserved for a select few golf clubs in Asia has arrived!
The Asia Pacific Order of Zenith is a spin-off from the long running Asian Golf Awards, the only pan-Asian recognition award programme for the golf industry that is now in its nineteenth year.
This is a unique award designed to recognise distinguished golf clubs and permanently enshrine these clubs in a hallowed class all their own.
Commenting on the special award, Harald Elisson, managing director of Black Mountain said, “This award really marks a new and important milestone for our club.
It is an award that elevates our club to the highest level possible within the club industry in the Asia Pacific and we are indeed honoured to have been elected to this lefty status.”
“This award is also validation of what we have worked for over the past years which was a mission to not only be the best golf club in Asia but to also offer the best mix of life-style conditions to help create one of the best residential communities in the area,” he added.
In this context, Black Mountain has embarked on an ambitious development programme to add to its already highly successful residential and property division.
The latest edition to the homes at Black Mountain has been named North Point – this is very appropriate given the fact that the parcel of land is located at the highest point on the golf property and it provides a sweeping panoramic view of the stunning surrounding vista.
“Because of the prime location of North Point, this tract of land is being reserved exclusively for our villas,” according to Elisson. The villas are three-storey structures with four rooms and each purchase will come complete with two life-time memberships to the golf club.
“We have designed the homes at North Point to be spacious and to take optimum advantage of the surroundings which are both natural and specially landscaped to fit in with our plans for gracious living,” Elisson explained. The villas at North Point are being complimented with two-storey twin-houses that are sited along the West Course, the newest part of the 27-hole spread of Black Mountain.
“Like the villas, the twin-houses will also come with four rooms and two life-time golf club memberships,” Elisson pointed out. The villas are priced at US$1.2 million (approximate) and the twin-houses will be sold at US$600,000 (approximate).
Commenting on the life-time golf club membership Elisson said, “We want golf to be one of the bonding factors of living in Black Mountain because this is what has made Black Mountain the most desired golfing community in Asia.”
