From March 20th to 29th, 2025, Constance Belle Mare Plage and Constance Prince Maurice will host the most anticipated 18th Constance Festival Culinaire. This vibrant celebration of gastronomy brings together the world’s finest chefs, pastry masters, and hospitality artisans, all united by their passion for culinary excellence and cultural exchange.
At the soul of Constance Festival Culinaire are the thrilling culinary competitions, each a stage for creativity and collaboration:
– Gato Piment & Tarte Banane Competition: A celebration of local heritage, this competition invites all Mauritians to showcase their cherished recipes for two iconic delicacies—Gato Piment and Tarte Banane.
– Régis Marcon Trophy: The festival’s main event, uniting six Michelin-star chefs with six Constance chefs from the hotels and resorts in Mauritius, Maldives, and Seychelles to craft a winning dish that celebrates culinary artistry and teamwork.
– Deutz Trophy: Michelin-star chefs compete to create the perfect amuse-bouche paired with the exquisite Cuvée William Deutz champagne.
– Pierre Hermé Trophy: Six international pastry chefs team up with Constance pastry chefs to create desserts worthy of their legendary namesake.
– Jars Arts of the Table Trophy: A showcase of elegance and precision as Constance waiters and chefs de rang compete in table etiquette, service, and speech.
– Constance Café Gourmand: A feast for the senses with inventive pastry creations from the chefs of Constance Belle Mare Plage and Constance Prince Maurice.
