Arabella Golf Resort Mallorca is the pride of the Balearics and boasts some of Mallorca’s most beautiful courses and the island’s oldest olive tree – ‘Na Capitana’.
Home to three 18-hole courses alongside a 9-hole Pitch and Putt, the leading golf resort on the island has 63 holes to offer, delivering a mixed variety of courses suitable for all abilities.
Five minutes from the Balearic capital Palma, and nestled at the foothills of Son Vida, the resort also has three restaurants, three hotels and a variety of leisure and wellness activities. Son Muntaner, one of the three 18-hole courses, is home to the largest putting green in Mallorca alongside an illuminated driving range and Golf Academy that caters to both adults and children.
Opening in 2000, and host of the 2022 Mallorca Golf Open on the DP World Tour, Son Muntaner has been carefully designed to integrate seamlessly into the indigenous Mediterranean flora and fauna, and is the first course in Europe to be entirely reseeded, from tee to green, with Celebration Bermuda grass. The course also uses recycled water for irrigation, they have replaced single use plastic bottles with water fountains and implemented solar panels to help generate clubhouse electricity.
Son Vida, the oldest course in Mallorca, has hosted two European tournaments (1990 and 1994) and with an impressive par 5 last hole with the second shot over water, it provides ultimate temptation for the most intrepid golfers and requires intelligent game strategy.
If your preference is for long shots, Son Quint is your choice. Its open course encourages an aggressive game, with guaranteed enjoyment for beginners and golf enthusiasts.
A popular holiday destination with beautiful beaches, delicious local cuisine and a warm year-round climate, Mallorca is the perfect choice for golf too.
Many activities are within easy reach of Arabella Golf Resort Mallorca, where views of the iconic Serra de Tramuntana mountain range to the north contrast with picture-perfect beaches to the west and Palma to the east, a city worth a visit for its fine dining, shopping and unique European cosmopolitan vibe.
