The Dutch, situated in the centre of The Netherlands, is a stunning Inland Links Championship Course maintained to the highest European standards and a frontrunner in terms of quality, durability, and playability in the country. The course was designed by 2010 Ryder Cup Captain Colin Montgomerie in conjunction with European Golf Design and is a part of European Tour Destinations, a network of world class venues all of which have a close association with the European Tour group.
The course has proven its world class standards as it was host to the KLM Open on the DP World Tour between 2016-2018, and the HotelPlanner Tour’s BN-L Challenge Trophy in 2021. The Dutch Futures was previously on the HotelPlanner Tour schedule from 2007-2009, with 2023 Ryder Cup Vice-Captain Nicolas Colsaerts winning the event in 2009.
The event will be run in partnership with the Clutch Pro Tour, who boast an inclusive schedule featuring a mix of male and female professional golfers and some of the best amateur players. Founded in 2019, the Clutch Pro Tour provides golfers with the perfect pathway to achieve success.
Jamie Hodges, HotelPlanner Tour Director, said: “It is incredibly exciting to be able to take the HotelPlanner Tour back to the Netherlands and we are looking forward to working with the Clutch Pro Tour again.
“We enjoyed a fantastic visit to The Dutch in 2021 for the BN-L Challenge Trophy as Spaniard Alfredo García-Heredia secured victory on his way to securing promotion to the DP World Tour. We are now looking forward to taking our relationship to the next level and delivering a memorable event that will provide a quality test for our members.
“Our thanks must go to Tom Hayward, for his work in bringing this event to fruition and his continued support for the HotelPlanner Tour, as well as everyone at The Dutch for all of their help and hospitality.”
Tom Hayward, Clutch Pro Tour Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are excited to be able to announce our event on the 2025 HotelPlanner Tour schedule. We aim for The Dutch Futures to become a leading event on the schedule, and we could not have asked for a better host venue.
“The Dutch is a superb facility and course and one that we know will be thoroughly appreciated by the players. We thank Phil Helsby and his team at The Dutch for their support in making this event a reality and for their shared vision. Collectively we look forward to continuing to support the rising stars of the game”
Phil Helsby, Managing Director of The Dutch, said: “Working with the HotelPlanner Tour and the Clutch Pro Tour is fantastic for The Dutch in showcasing our club globally, for the benefit of our members and for the further development of the game of golf in The Netherlands. We look forward to hosting The Dutch Futures on the 2025 Road to Mallorca. Through our collaboration and teamwork, we will be able to deliver a great event later this year.”
